We had the best experience with FOX. The await was possibly 2 minutes. The young man was very polite checking us in. He likewise gave us a free upgrade. Car was clean and had plenty of room. Returning the automobile was even easier! I am tardily writing this review. Simply Thanks FOR MAKING THIS SO EASY FOR US! I will continue to volume when we travel.

I actually had a positive feel renting from Flim-flam Rentals in San Francisco and returning to Fox in San Diego. The wait was minimal, received a gratuitous upgrade, no serious attempts to upsell me on any extras, and no boosted charges than what was expected on my credit card. For the record, I booked directly through the Play tricks Rentals website.

This was in Phoenix, AZ. My family and I were having major issues with the car we rented from a different rental, and spent hours trying to fix information technology. An amazing man named, Boyfriend, from Play a joke on helped me hire a machine after we left the first identify. He had an amazing easy-going attitude which calmed my intense anxiety. We cracked jokes and had such an like shooting fish in a barrel time getting a new car in merely ten minutes! I'll remember you lot Beau! When returning out car, Norman helped usa do a nice, quick bank check in. He was besides an East coast homo, which we bonded over. Loved the experience I had here! Will employ once more!

I've had a not bad experience with Melissa who helped me to select the right motorcar for the trip and who diligently and patiently tried to accommodate (and succeeded!) all my needs. The Hyundai Elantra worked out like a charm for me. I am very happy!

I booked Fox Rent a Machine through Hopper every bit the pricing was almost half the cost of other rental car agencies. Afterward booking, I read through the reviews and became very nervous as the reviews were pretty bad. Multiple hour wait times, no cars available, dirty & cleaved vehicles, unauthorized charges etc. We reserved a mini van and received a 2019 Contrivance 1000 Caravan with 44K miles. Information technology was definitely a base model - seats & lights were non automatic- only the vehicle ran fine and got us from indicate A to Point B.

The check in procedure could take been quicker. It took a half hour at the counter before it was our turn and another half hour in the garage to wait for our vehicle to be brought to united states so about an hour in full. I read many reviews about additional charges that the consumer was not enlightened of. We were charged a $150 security deposit that was promptly refunded. We were too charged near $63 for an additional driver which I didn't run into on their website when booking fifty-fifty though we listed him on the booking. I am under the impression that if information technology had been a spouse information technology is no accuse but this was my developed son. They did clearly country in that location would exist an extra accuse when nosotros picked upwards the vehicle. I read reviews about extra charges regarding tolls only at that place were no tolls in our areas.

They offered us all of the boosted insurances merely we declined and they were not pushy every bit many other reviews have claimed and nothing boosted was charged without our knowledge except the $63 for the additional driver that nosotros agreed to. Nosotros brought the car back completely full as some reviews stated that they were told information technology was cheaper to accept them make full it just in fact it was a huge accuse. They did state that when the car was returned you must accept the credit card you booked the reservation with as it would be swiped. My son returned the car which was the reason we put him every bit a commuter and he is not in possession of our credit card. The only manner effectually that was he had to give his credit card for the deposit and extra $63. It was a hassle and in the end they never asked to encounter his credit menu when he returned the vehicle.

I guess in conclusion, this wasn't my preferred rental car agency. The look time was a flake long, and the vehicle was definitely no frills. It was more of a budget car rental experience just we did salvage several hundred dollars, the customer service agents were friendly, and for the price savings I was happy plenty with our experience.

Rented at auto at TPA for ane week. Went through one toll for $.54 and fox added $15.00 admin fee. Consummate ripoff. I was not aware of any cost charges and was not informed that if needed I could purchase a Dominicus pass account through the Florida Highway system.

When registering to selection up the car the agent informed me they did not have my credit carte insurance coverage and the actress would exist $36/solar day. He tried to tell me it was Mexican law that my credit card could not exist used. I told him that was non true as I had rented previously from other companies and never had an issue. He then pulled out a crumpled printed sheet and said information technology was their policy. In that location was no mention of this when making the booking. I left and will never book with Fox again. Beware they are owned past Europcar. So I have black listed them as well.

Took over 1 60 minutes to be "next" and we were 4th in line. The reason it was taking so long is that they started tacking on charges to anybody's confirmation for fees, insurance etc etc. We finally got out of there in just under two hours. Carlos tried to assistance two of usa at the same time...interim so self that he was "going to take care of the states"... Well I finally got a straight respond from the boss of the timeshare salesperson there "Aye", the machine reps are on commission! The more fees they tack onto your car rental, the more they make!!!! Also, if you do rent here, Exercise Not let them tell y'all they take photos of all the scratches and dents equally Carlos of class did but when we returned the guy said NO, there was naught reported. THANK sky nosotros had taken over a dozen and he finally accepted when nosotros showed him the date we took. THEY ARE After YOUR MONEY! Beware of Carlos!

My practiced friend Barbara ** rented an SUV from Pull a fast one on with my daughter Anea every bit the authorized second driver for a trip to Seattle and back to Burbank. I was the passenger. Upon arriving in Seattle and pulling into the hotel's parking garage, a rear tire shredded to treadless strips of safety. Thank God nosotros were only going less than 5mph when this happened. We were all shocked when Fox billed Ms ** nearly $2,000 in repairs to a vehicle that was NEVER DAMAGED while in our possession. They referred to "the incident" -- there was never an incident! There was never whatsoever damage. If there were damage it could but exist Subsequently the vehicle was taken from united states of america by the towing company. Expect, it gets worse. Prior to returning the vehicle to Burbank, an incident written report was filed of a NO DAMAGE/NO COLLISION event at a stop calorie-free when a car slammed on its brakes in front of our vehicle. Our vehicle stopped without making any direct contact with vehicle in front. The driver of the front car, (uninsured) insisted on a written report equally he wanted to claim that his mother-in-law in the front passenger seat suffered whiplish and a dent in the right SIDE of his car (apparently preexistent) was caused past non-existent collision! His attempts evidently failed.

When the vehicle was returned to Trick there was no revelatory discovery of new harm to the vehicle whatever. Later, however, Ms ** was billed $1600 for repairs when there was cipher to repair as at that place was no new damage whatever to the vehicle. More than than ane complaint regarding these blatant fraudulent charges take been filed with the State Attorney General, and I am amazed that this company is still in concern.
