The Gallery was incredible! We went to meet the Vital Waters exhibit that features Ansel Adams' work, and it was beyond compare. The flow of the curated work was phenomenal, the docent noted that Adams' daughter-in-law arranged the flow of the event and she did a phenomenal job! The quotes and stories sprinkled throughout the showroom were enlightening and on point. Would 100% recommend for any photography fans, and particularly for any Ansel Adams fans.

Another notable exhibit was the second floor photographs on the flood in Pueblo. Incredible photographs of a devastating event in Pueblo's history. It's amazing to see those photos and so walk along Chief Street and run into the buildings that were effected past the flood 100 years ago.

The ceramics exhibit was also wonderful on the footing floor. All in all, a fabulous way to beat the heat in Pueblo and soak in some visual culture. Will absolutely be dorsum, and would beloved to visit the Children'south Museum next time.

If putting nil stars was an option, I would have put zip stars. Last twelvemonth, nosotros booked with Maria at the Sangre De Cristo Art Center to take our nuptials there this year. Pre- COVID of form. Awesome.... ii months earlier our appointment, nosotros go a frantic call from her that she had accidentally double booked our wedding appointment with another couple and we need to notice another venue. 2 MONTHS! Every engaged couple's nightmare. For someone who is hired to book and host events, she double booked the biggest day of our lives. Not okay. She did mention that this was only the 2nd fourth dimension over the span of half dozen years that she's washed this. Really? This should never happen Period. Yeah, we did go the money dorsum we paid in advance only this is extremely unprofessional... especially with the money i puts into a wedding. Disgusting.

I want to make it clear that I am reviewing only the Children's Museum portion of the arts complex. We accept visited Children's Museums all over the state. From tiny to huge, we ever observe lots to enjoy. This was such a thwarting. This is not a children's museum! In whatever mode shape or class. Please come here with the agreement that this is a place for your older children to do arts and crafts. This is not a identify to bring immature children. At that place are no hands on fun exhibits, no discovery, nothing at all outside of arts and crafts. It is tiny, even by the standards of some of the small Children's Museums we've visited. My youngster lasted one-half hour at best, and there was literally nix for him to do. Information technology was by and large walking from art projection to art projection and realizing that information technology wasn't for him. Imagine a autumn festival or like event at which at that place is a children'south expanse, where they accept some craft ready up. That's what this museum is. Just the craft office. They demand to change the name to reflect this, so that people do not pay admission in the expectation that this is a children's museum. It is not. It is a children's arts and crafts zone. If y'all have a toddler, or you have a child who is non interested in arts and crafts, don't bother. If you have an 8 year old girl who loves to create, this is the place for y'all! Unfortunately, that was not our family unit. We were looking for something more than along the lines of a children'southward museum

Attended the Ansel Adams exhibit in 2016. I found the exhibit to be very well displayed. Information technology was a nice setup where at that place was seating to permit for sitting and viewing the photos. Being a minor venue you were not rushed and crammed into the exhibit.

I was very impressed with the scale and the brandish of several of the art exhibits at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Eye. They had an amazing exhibit of Cistron Kloss etchings and the display of the Rembrandts etchings was very well done. There was plenty of infinite to get up shut to the work and non experience over crowded with people. Definitely worth visiting if you lot are in Pueblo, CO!

We like to have lunch at the cafe then visit the museum - a dandy way to spend the afternoon. We but saw the Nippon Way exhibit, which was beautifully displayed, especially loved the kimonos.

So much civilization. We visited during spring break. It's a must visit for the family. Lots of groovy things to run across inside and outside the grounds.
